Call for Papers | 2023 WSAP Annual International Conference

The Women’s and Gender Studies Association of the Philippines (WSAP) in partnership with Bukidnon State University will hold its annual international conference with the theme, “Feminist Strategies for Gender Equitable, Inclusive, and Sustainable Global Futures: Challenges, Responses, Possibilities” on 22-24 November 2023 at the Bukidnon State University in Malaybalay, Bukidnon.

The WSAP Annual International Conference 2023 is officially endorsed by the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC). It is also promoted by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU).

Early Bird Registration period is from September 1 to 30, 2023, while Regular Registration is from October 1 to 31, 2023. WSAP welcomes research that brings gender and intersectionality lenses to micro and macro topics, local, regional, and global. We also welcome papers, posters, and panel presentations exploring the links between theory and practice and a range of inquiries on women’s and gender issues. Presentations with an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach are highly valued. Abstracts can be uploaded through the DaKILa (Data, Knowledge, and Information Launcher) of the UP Center for Women’s and Gender. The deadline for the submission of abstracts is on 15 September 2023. Announcement of accepted abstracts will be made on 8 October 2023.
